Prologue - indian wedding
8. August 2006My first destination was a wedding of a friend I met iceland. Sanjeet’s wedding took part in Birmingham but we also partied in Banbury. This was my first indian wedding and it was true what I was told: it is all about food and drinks. Lot’s of drinks and lots of food. It was also nice to meet all the erasmus people from 2007. Next reunion summer-iceland I hope?!
I did not understand a word of the wedding ceremony but it was really impressive! All the colourful Saaris and the meet and greet of the family. Not to forget that I met Sanj’s friends from London and spend a great time with them.
